No health declaration card needed while entry/exit China
According to the relevant provisions of the "People’s Republic of China Frontier Health and Quarantine Law" and its implementing rules, the General Administration of Customs has decided that starting from November 1, 2023, individuals entering or exiting the country are exempt from filling out the "People’s Republic of China Entry/Exit Health Declaration Card." However, individuals with symptoms of infectious diseases such as fever, cough, difficulty breathing, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, unexplained subcutaneous bleeding, or those diagnosed with infectious diseases must proactively declare their health to the customs and cooperate with the customs in conducting health quarantine work, including temperature checks, epidemiological investigations, medical examinations, and sample testing. Those who conceal or evade quarantine will bear corresponding legal responsibilities, and those who cause the spread of quarantine-infectious diseases or pose a serious transmission risk will bear corresponding criminal responsibilities.
